Greetings from Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, England.
I am a New Media and Digital Music specialist. I have 30 years commercial IT experience and I have also been involved in the musical world as a Guitarist/Vocalist and Synthesiser player. My band, Northern Soundscapes, recently reached the top of the 7 Digital Indiestore charts. I have blogged for the British Computer Society on IT Quality issues and in 2009 I published a book 'Prudent Pathways To Quality' which looks at how we measure success in the IT world.
My music project, Northernsoundscapes, is based around Prog influenced rock and pop (and some instrumental stuff as well). I like groups like Asia, Mike and The Mechanics, Jon & Vangelis and producers like Trevor Horn. I also like Phil Collins and Collins era Genesis, Pink Floyd and Tangerine Dream etc.
